CARPENTER'S APPRENTICE:
Key qualifications:
  • Safety awareness and good safety practices
  • Ability to use basic hand tools:
    • Hammer, Speed Square, Level, Skilsaw, Screw Gun
    • Know how to read a tape measure.
  • Learn and become proficient in the use of power and pneumatic tools
  • Great attitude, work ethic and attendance record
  • Works in any weather condition – hot, cold, wind, rain, snow
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast paced work environment

PROJECT ENGINEER
​
The Project Engineer’s main role is to support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent. A substantial portion of responsibilities will be performed at the job site.   Responsibilities include field work, subcontractor coordination, submittals, RFIs, and procurement, Assist with construction documentation, estimating and contact with subcontractors.   Ideal candidates are looking to grow their career into a future Superintendent or Project Management role.
 
Education/Experience
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or other degree with field experience in residential construction


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Work ethic
  • Integrity
  • Works well with others
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to read, understand and interpret plans & specifications
  • Comfortable with a fast paced schedule
  • Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills including MS Office
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate:
  • Has engineering experience or field experience in residential construction
  • Is very detail oriented, organized, able to manage time and priorities
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is experienced with MS Project scheduling software
  • Is experienced with Timberline Project Management software
